This unique 10-video series provides an opportunity to learn complicated grief treatment at your own pace. The videos include demonstrations of core techniques using clips from actual treatment sessions. Dr. Shear provides a discussion of the relevant treatment principles and procedures. Additionally there are follow-up comments by the patient and therapist years after the end of the treatment. Access to the video series is granted for 6 months.

The Center for Complicated Grief at Columbia School of Social Work is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for NYS licensed social workers (provider #0021), licensed mental health counselors (#MHC-0104), and licensed marriage and family therapists (#MFT-0080). This program is approved for 4.0 continuing education contact hours.

In deference to the generosity of the patient whose treatment sessions are recorded on these videos, access to the video-self study is limited to licensed clinical professionals and graduate students in the mental health field.
